By agreeing to this waiver, you acknowledge and accept the following terms on behalf of yourself and any children in your care who participate in Outdoor Creators sessions, events, or programs.
Nature of Services
Outdoor Creators offers outdoor, play-based sessions for children and families. These may include, but are not limited to:

Sensory and messy play
-
Loose parts and creative construction
-
Nature-based crafts
-
Risky and physical play
-
River or bushland exploration
These sessions are designed to encourage curiosity, movement, creativity, and connection with the natural environment.
Acknowledgement of Risk
You understand and accept that outdoor play and exploration carry inherent risks. These may include, but are not limited to:

Trips, slips, and falls
-
Cuts, bruises, bites, or stings
-
Reactions to natural elements (plants, insects, or water)
-
Use of tools or breakable items during craft or activity sessions
-
Use of food-based or dyed materials
Some activities may be classified as Dangerous Recreational Activities with Obvious Risks under the Civil Liability Amendment (Personal Responsibility) Act 2002.
Participation at Own Risk
By taking part in Outdoor Creators sessions, you accept full responsibility for the health, safety, and supervision of yourself and the children in your care. This includes any injuries, illnesses, or adverse outcomes that may occur as a result of participation.
You understand that while Outdoor Creators will take reasonable care to provide a safe and supportive environment, participation is entirely at your own risk.
Confirmation and Release
By agreeing to this waiver:

You confirm that you have read and understood this Risk Warning and Waiver Agreement.

You accept all risks associated with participation in Outdoor Creators activities.

You confirm that you and any children in your care are medically fit to take part.

You confirm you are not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair your judgement while participating.
You release Outdoor Creators, its organisers, staff, contractors, and volunteers from any liability for injury, property damage, or other consequences arising from your participation. This includes future participation in any Outdoor Creators programs or events unless revoked in writing.
Legal Capacity and Consent
By agreeing to this waiver, you confirm that you:

Are 18 years of age or older

Are legally competent to agree to this contract

Are the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) you are registering, and consent to their participation under these terms
Acknowledgement of Play Materials
You understand that sessions may involve a range of materials, including but not limited to:

Food-based products
-
Playdough
-
Paints, coloured dyes, or powders
-
Natural and recycled materials
-
Small items or loose parts
-
Nature based items like nuts and feathers
Supervision and discretion are advised at all times.
Liability Waiver
You agree on behalf of yourself, your child(ren), and any heirs, executors, or legal representatives to:

Waive and release Outdoor Creators and its representatives from liability for any personal injury, disability, property damage, or other loss connected with participation

Indemnify and hold Outdoor Creators from any claims or legal action arising from participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise
Privacy Policy Acknowledgement
Outdoor Creators may collect personal and health-related information for safety and administrative purposes. This information will be handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 and will not be shared without your consent unless required by law.
You may request access to or correction of your information at any time by contacting Outdoor Creators directly.
Final Agreement
By ticking the box during registration, you confirm that you:
